ECS at UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH HAMPTON STUDIES REHABILITATION - ECS - Electronics and Computer Science University of Southampton The final-year Group Design Project in ECS-Electronics and Computer Science involves real projects for industrial or research clients. This project, carried out between October and December 2012, aimed to use an Xbox Kinect to model hand movements in order to provide realistic rehabilitation strategies for stroke patients. The clients were Roke Manor Research and University researchers Dr Sara Demain and Dr Cheryl Metcalf. The students involved were MEng Electronics students Bekki Robinson, Tristan Bogle, Tom Dell, and Adam Malpass.
